Shipping & Returns


We primarily ship via your choice of USPS, UPS, or FedEx services, however if you prefer a different carrier we're happy to oblige. Delivery confirmation is included free with U.S. packages. Most orders ship within 1 business day, we will contact you if your order is delayed for any reason. Orders with expedited shipping are processed in an expedited manner. We process orders, ship packages, and answer email and phone calls during our regular business hours Monday through Friday.
All items are securely packed. We will replace or refund merchandise that arrives damaged or destroyed in transit. Please contact us at if this happens, and include your order number in the subject.

When am I going to receive my order?
We make every attempt to ship your order within one to three working days of receipt. We process orders Monday through Friday. This means if you ordered Monday evening (Eastern Standard Time in the USA) we will usually process your order on Tuesday and if you ordered Friday evening we will usually process your order on Monday. If for some reason there is a problem with your order we will notify you by e-mail. Note: the shipping times on the Shopping Cart page are in addition to the processing time noted above.

Standard Shipping
If the products you ordered are in stock, we will ship your order within one to three days after receiving the order. We do not process orders on the weekend. Depending on the method of shipping chosen, the time will vary. Please be patient as we have no control once the package has been shipped. Note: Shipping times may vary seasonally. For us Halloween is our busiest time.

Rush Shipping
We can rush your shipment by either Next Day Air or Second Day Air. Please note that the processing time must be included when calculating shipping time. We are not able to process orders on the weekend & any order placed on Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday will be processed the next Monday. If you are experiencing an extra-long waiting time for your order to arrive, please contact us at, and we will be happy to assist you in any way that we can.


Return Policies:

Boston Costume™ has a no return policy. We do not accept returns unless there are unusal circumstances which are determined on a case by case basis; items returned to us without prior authorization will not be eligible for a refund. This policy does not mean that we are not willing to solve problems that might arise from ordering online. We are happy to discuss your particular case with you at or by phone at 617-482-1632. We answer email and phone calls during our regular business hours Monday through Friday.

Some important things to consider before asking for a return authorization:
-Boston Costume™ will accept returns for product(s) damaged in transit.
-Boston Costume™ will accept returns for mistakes we may make during the order process.
-If the item you have received is unsatsifatory in some way we only consider returns when the product is in its original condition and has not been used.
-Returns can be for store credit or a charge card credit (to the card originally used).
-Returns must be packed and sealed securely (in original package, if possible). Please note the reason for return.
